Travis White

Travis was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and raised on a small farm in the nearby town of Ossian. It was there that he developed a strong appreciation for hard work, discipline, and self-sufficiency—values that would continue to shape his personal and professional life. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served as an infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Following his military service, Travis pursued higher education at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW), where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a minor in Art History. Shortly after completing his degree, he began working with a decorative painting company in Auburn, Indiana, where he continues to apply his artistic skills and creative vision.

A lifelong appreciation for nature and the outdoors has been a constant thread in Travis’s journey. From his early days working on the farm to military field training and beyond, his connection to the land has only deepened. Today, that passion is channeled into his role as co-host of the Busted Knees and Pretty Trees podcast, where he shares his love of hiking, storytelling, and outdoor exploration with a growing audience.
